Basnett Street Market returns to the city centre for festive shopping season

This weekend marks the return of Basnett Street Market to Liverpool city centre, offering shoppers an early chance to begin their Christmas gift shopping. After successful trial runs over the past two years, the market is set to open again on Saturday, 7 November, with two additional dates planned for 21 November and 5 December.
Operating daily from 10am until 6pm, the market will feature approximately 30 independent vendors positioned along Basnett Street, right in the city centre. Visitors will find a diverse selection of products including artisan gifts, handmade crafts, festive foods, and other unique items.
Among the various stalls, shoppers can explore offerings such as artwork, jewellery, photographs, handmade soaps, cheeses, and a range of sweet treats. The event not only showcases creative local talent but also gives shoppers the chance to find distinctive presents for the holiday season.
Basnett Street Market presents a valuable opportunity for both locals and tourists to support Liverpool’s small businesses as the festive period approaches. The upcoming market dates are 7 November, 21 November, and 5 December, all running from 10am to 6pm in the city centre
